Celebrate Ted Virts’ Six Years as our District Superintendent

Come hear some of Ted’s favorite music! Savor some of Ted’s favorite poems!  Share your appreciation of Ted’s ministry to your church/your life!

Listen to the impact *Side-by-Side Ministries has had in the lives of …. so many people!

Food:     It’s up to you!  Bring Ted’s favorite foods to the potluck – - salad bar fixin’s, Mexican or Thai dishes, desserts, or your own favorites !

Oak Grove Regional Park: This 180-acre park is situated in a beautiful oak-forest setting with a 10-acre lake.  Paddleboats (fee req’d) are available to take out on lake for sightseeing.  There is an Oaks Nature Center which offers exhibits detailing the many flora and fauna native to San Joaquin County. There is also a 1.5 mile nature trail and of course children’s playgrounds.  Parking is $5.00 but you can get a $1.00 discount if paid in advance.  Ask Cindy at the Delta District Office if interested.

*All donations or contributions will go to Side-by-Side Ministries.  You may send a check to the Delta District Office in advance or give at the event.  Checks payable to:  CA/NV Conference of the UMC

Program expenses will be provided by the District – - all you need to do is bring a dish, let us know you are coming and get there.
