Letter of Thanks From Homeless Guest – Fall 2009

To: Ann, Ron, Chester, Sean and Rev. Linda (Side-By-Side prayer circle volunteers and staff)

Wow. How do you thank the people that helped you find God, that helped you find love, that helped you find faith? I guess by giving it to others. It’s difficult to find the words that could express what all of you have done for me. I belive in God because I saw Him in all of you. You guys became my spiritual advisors, my counselors, my conscience, my shoulder to cry on, my motivation, my friends, my family. Don’t ever question your purpose for being in this park. God sent you guys here for all of us. I looked forward to my daily journey with God with you at my side. Because of you I know God loves me, your constant encouragement gave me the strength to deal with those rough patches in my addiciton. Your patience and gentle kindness reminded me of those qualities within me that I lost sight of.

I can’t write all the ways you guys have helped me on this limited space so I’ll just say I love you. Thank you. May God Bless and Keep You. Love,
